D206. Ridicule Many of us have probably faced it in many situations.

We need to at least be able to recognize how much pain our ridicule causes others.

The ridicule we face will not be the same every time. Some ridicule may exhaust us mentally and physically.

We need to be able to face and avoid ridicule bravely.

Do not intentionally ridicule anyone for anything. The consequences of ridicule can be very dangerous.

The mental state of the person making the ridicule is not the same as that of the person who has to hear the ridicule, so it is impossible to predict how that person will react to the ridicule.

Each of us needs to spend time learning to never see the ridicule of others in the wrong way, to only accept it in the right way, and to avoid relationships with those who ridicule us if they are not needed.
